The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates expressed its satisfaction on Monday with the resumption of diplomatic representation between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar, in strict adherence to the Al-Ula agreement.
Sinan Majali, the official spokesperson for the ministry, emphasized the significance of the agreement in strengthening collaboration among Arab nations and fostering united Arab efforts that benefit the entire region, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.
The Al-Ula agreement was announced in January 2021, marking the resolution of the Gulf crisis.
Since its announcement, the signatories of the agreement have been actively involved in a series of meetings to implement the terms of the deal and establish normalized bilateral relations.
