The Civil Service Commission has announced that the flexible working hours’ system for the public sector will extend beyond the Eid Al-Fitr holiday and for several months later until a study for the new system is completed entirely before moving forward.
As per the system, state departments can choose from any of the seven-hour-long work timings:
– 7:00 am to 2:00 pm
– 7:30 am to 2:30 pm
– 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
– 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Meanwhile, no such luck for the private sector, who will still be working the same hours as they were before the Holy Month began. Is some jealousy in order? Probably.
