AMMAN — Jordan’s Tourism Minister, Makram Al-Qaisi, on Saturday stressed the need to consolidate the Kingdom’s position as a global tourist destination by providing high-quality hospitality services for visitors, Hala News reported.
Qaisi was speaking during a meeting with the president and members of the Sector Skills Council for Tourism and Hospitality, which focused on establishing an executive program to develop training centers and programs to keep pace with the changing tourism labor market.
Also on Saturday, Qaisi met with the president and members of the Tourist Transport Association to discuss key challenges in tourism transport and the importance of enhancing the sector to provide top-notch services to the Kingdom’s visitors.
