On Tuesday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) issued a statement disclosing the prices of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for June, specifically propane and butane.
According to a statement received by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), KPC revealed that the cost of a metric ton of propane would be $450, while butane would be priced at $440 per metric ton for the upcoming month.
Propane and butane, both forms of LNG, find applications in various sectors such as the petrochemical industry, as well as for cooking and heating purposes.
The pricing of LNG is primarily influenced by fluctuations in global oil prices, market supply and demand dynamics, and other relevant factors, the statement said
These factors collectively contribute to determining the pricing structure of LNG, impacting industries and consumers worldwide.
