Al-Sadu House joined forces with Kuwait Textile Art Association (KTAA), Khayt Group, and the Turkish Embassy by organizing a charity initiative on Saturday to create warm clothing for individuals impacted by the severe earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
Members from the textile association and Khayt, along with the body, are eager to contribute by donating their products and dedicating their time to gathering as many mittens and blankets as possible to support those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
The chairperson of Al-Sadu House, Sheikha Bibi Duaij Al-Sabah, stated that Sadu House is always a welcoming place for charity work. She added that it is a chance for Kuwaiti people to donate, volunteer, and contribute to humanitarian acts.
“It is a one-day event, but we dedicated this weekly Wednesday meeting to charity at Sadu House to make as many warm pieces for those in need. We will always be involved with any kind of charitable work,” said Dr. Batoul Al-Sayegh, President of the Kuwait Textile Art Association.
